Mission:
To share the gospel and love of Christ with others & equip believers to go and make disciples of Jesus.
Vision:
To build a community where we can all use our gifts and abilities to share the gospel and love of Christ in our neighborhood and extending to all of San Diego.
Our Beliefs:
God The Father:
We believe in God the Father, the Creator of heaven and earth, who is holy, loving, sovereign, and faithful in all His ways. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem the world and adopts all who believe into His family.
(Genesis 1:1; Psalm 103:13; John 3:16; Ephesians 4:6; 1 John 3:1)
Jesus:
We believe Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, fully God and fully man, who came to save sinners through His sinless life, sacrificial death on the cross, and bodily resurrection from the grave on the third day. Through Him alone we have forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life.
(John 1:1, 14; Colossians 2:9; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; John 14:6)
The Holy Spirit:
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and actively works in the world to convict of sin, regenerate, indwell, guide, comfort, and empower believers for holy living and service. He glorifies Christ and seals believers as God’s own.
(John 14:16–17, 26; John 16:8, 13–14; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13–14)
The Trinity:
We believe there is one true God who eternally exists in three distinct Beings: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each Person is fully God, equal in divine nature, glory, and power.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 3:16–17; John 10:30)
Salvation:
We believe salvation is the gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone and not earned by human works. We are forgiven and made right with God through the shed blood, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 5:8–9; Romans 10:9–10; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:18–19)
Baptism:
We believe water baptism is an act of obedience for every believer and a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ and new life in Him. While baptism does not save, it testifies to our union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
(Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:38, 41; Romans 6:3–4; Colossians 2:12)
The Bible:
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and is true, trustworthy, and without error in all it affirms. It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and daily living.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105; Matthew 24:35; Hebrews 4:12)
